Who Am I

Like many in the hobby, I started my interest in stamp collecting in my early teens with a simple world wide album and many visits to my local stamp store. During my 33 year career as an Engineer in the field of quality office furniture my interest continued, until 1982 when my retirement plans lead me to register as an APS member and become a full-time Stamp Dealer.  I have enjoyed over 20 years as a Stamp Dealer, traveling and participating in 24 to 26 weekend stamp shows each year, in malls and at various local clubs in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.   My goal as a Stamp Dealer is to serve the needs of the everyday collector with reasonably priced material and increase his/her enjoyment and knowledge of the hobby.

With the closing of many stamp stores, reduced traffic at mall shows, and an increasing interest in the world of internet shopping, I see this website as an opportunity to expand my contact with stamp collectors in a new way.   I hope to continue a service directed at everyday collectors, who may have limited funds, but are still seeking to increase their enjoyment of the hobby.   In short, a friendly neighborhood store with in-home (at your convenience) internet connections.
